ST BEDE’S surfer Caspar McCormick (above) put on a stylish display in his first national event finishing second.

Competing in the longboard section of the national scholastic surf championships in Gisborne, he narrowly missed out on the title, which was won by Auckland’s Matt Newdick.

Coach Aaron Lock said he did incredibly well considering he has no national experience. “He is a really talented surfer and we want more contests out of

Council boss halts road safety working party By Julia Evans CITY COUNCIL chief executive Karleen Edwards appears to have put the brakes on setting up a working party to look at road safety in Fendalton. Dr Edwards (right) sent a memo to residents on Glandovy, Idris and Straven Rds who are concerned about poor road layout, narrow cycleways and the high number of heavy vehicles in the area. She also sent it to the Fendalton-Waimairi-Harewood Community Board. “Staff have suggested caution in establishing a working group due to the resource that will be required and the low likelihood of the working group being able to effect the changes requested,” she said in the memo. •Turn to page 7

Tuesday October 24 2017 FROM THE EDITOR’S DESK

THE CITY council has put the brakes on a bid by Fendalton residents to set up a working party to make their streets safer. Residents on Glandovy, Idris and Straven Rds say their streets are poorly laid out, have narrow cycleways and are used by too many heavy vehicles. Two weeks ago we revealed they had called on the city council to set up a working party to thrash out and solve the issues. But city council boss Karleen Edwards (see page 1) has just sent out a memo saying no to the working party. Her staff have told her that the chances of a working party being able to effect change is “low”. So the city council will talk with the community board about solutions. No prizes for guessing for what the residents think. –Barry Clarke

Young inventor’s looting solution By Julia Evans MICHAEL HANN likes fixing things. The 18-year-old always has. His earliest memory is helping his dad, Jody, put an electric motor on a tricycle. “When I see a problem, I like to think of ways to fix or improve it,” he said. The Papanui High School student saw a problem he could solve when medication and hearing equipment was stolen from a North New Brighton home during the tsunami evacuation after the Kaikoura earthquake last November. “Seeing the looting when the earthquake happened inspired me to create this product,” he said. So he designed a security system to be deployed in a natural disaster when the power goes out, and now he’s a finalist in the ASB Bright Sparks competition. It’s called TEMS, which Michael said stands for “temporary emergency monitoring system”. The invention acts as a battery charger for devices and a place to keep belongings locked inside during a disaster. It also has an alarm to keep houses safe when evacuated. It is triggered

said. Michael will be flying up to Auckland on November 7 to attend the Bright Sparks awards evening. “It’s on the same night as my last high school prize-giving, but I’ve decided to go up to Auckland instead,” he said. With him will be his proud dad, from who Michael may have inherited the “fix it” gene. Mr Hann’s job involves repairing electronics for the police. “He doesn’t help me that much on my projects anymore but . . . we have wires and stuff lying around the house,” Michael said. He spends his free time on Trade Me, buying broken items to upgrade. “Sometimes it’s not even fixing things; I just like to make improvements like in my bedroom. I made a motorised blind to wake me up in the morning,” he said. Next year the budding inventor will study engineering at Canterbury University.

sobering story with students I should’ve said: ‘Stop. Please pull over, I’m not comfortable, will you please let me out.’ It’s simple. That was the moment that changed my life forever. He was rounding a corner too fast on Remuera Rd in a 50km/h zone, going twice the speed limit-plus. He hit a power pole exactly where I was seated. We went through a garage door and halfway through a brick wall. I was in a coma for a month. When I woke up, I didn’t know I was there, I didn’t know what had happened because I don’t remember this night. I don’t remember a year and a half before this night or a year and a half after this night. Three years of my life is gone and I feel like I’m telling stories about another person. But these were my mistakes. It has affected my life hugely. I have diabetes, epilepsy, splenectomy – it took my spleen. These are the scars from one, two, three, four, five bad mistakes in one evening. I even had to have part of my skull replaced with titanium plating.

My left leg was partially replaced with a titanium rod and behind this metal front is the part of my brain that was most damaged. Sure, I damaged the left and right lobe but the frontal lobe is what makes it hard to behave correctly, behave socially correctly and manage my own life. I can’t plan. I work with six carers part time, 24/7. Every single day of my life is planned by someone else. That was not my plan when I was back at high school, this was not my plan when I was 17 years of age. But I made those mistakes. Partial loss of sight, partial loss of hearing, partial loss of smell. My left eye I can only see when I look in one direction. My right eye, I can’t see my hand when it’s right there. My left ear is deaf, which is a big bummer. I only have eight per cent taste left, which is a real bummer – I was a big food person. Not so much anymore. All of these things, all of these injuries, all of this crap in my life could’ve been prevented by

just thinking before I did those things. Before I finish this speech, I just have a few questions for you. How would you think, how would you feel if you were in my position? How would you feel having all of this happen to you and you were in the middle of it? What would you do to stop it again? And how would you live? Because every day I get up, I feel like I have less motivation. Every day I get up, it’s hard. There are three things you have to remember. Don’t drink and drive. Come on, it’s not that hard, is it? Second thing, (when you) hop into a car, put your seat belt on. It’s three seconds of your life. Put your seat belt on, even if you’re in the back seat. They save lives. Millions of lives. And next, if your friend is driving dangerously, if he’s driving fast, if he’s driving drunk – tell him to pull over, tell him to stop the car. You shouldn’t be embarrassed to ask because they should be the ones embarrassed for putting your life in danger. Thank you. “When experieNce counts”

Funding gives confidence to plan ahead

Manager of the Neighbourhood Trust Ginny Larsen writes about how three years of funding has secured the trust’s future to the benefit of the community Funding – the very word is enough to send chills up the spine of most not-for-profit organisations. As the manager of Neighbourhood Trust, (the community arm of St Albans Baptist Church), a local not-for-profit working mainly in the Mairehau, Shirley and St Albans part of town, I feel like half my life is taken up with funding applications and accountabilities. So it is a nice surprise to have some funders making the process a bit easier by putting three-year funding as an option. This year both NZ Lotteries and the city council, through its community boards offered this alternative. And we are exceptionally grateful to the Papanui-Innes Community Board for its grant. It must be hugely difficult making decisions, especially as the funds available to them have been cut by $85,000.

So what does this mean for an organisation to have funds guaranteed for three years? It gives us confidence to plan and look ahead, to know we can retain our wonderfully effective staff and provide appropriate training to keep them up-to-date. It means we can continue to offer our community consistent, community-led work at a high level to a variety of sectors – the Golden Connections programme for over-60s; from exercise classes to community days; from free English as a second language classes to OSCAR programmes to the Pay It Forward collective of over 50 local designers, selling their products through the store at 49 Nancy Ave. It also means we can dream a little about working with our community in different ways, supporting and mentoring, listening to their aspirations for their whanau. Through the Mairehau Neighbourhood Project, a three-year

COMMUNITY: The Neighbourhood Trust can focus on supporting the community now that it has secured three years of funding. project supported by The Tindall Foundation, we have seen transformational, long-term change; some remarkable stories. Working alongside partners Te Ora Hou and Kingdom Resources, with Mairehau Primary School as a base has brought a depth to our work with families. We have seen the value of longer-term thinking and are delighted that this work can now continue to develop. It’s

energising and empowering for our organisation and for our community. On one hand, we are humbled by the trust funders have put in us; on the other hand, we’d love to see the process made easier for all those organisations who have a proven track record and give great value for money. Let’s release them from the application grind and free them for more time making things happen.

Glenda McMillan – Maybe the people who decide these designs should take a look at some Australian malls. All their busses detour into the malls so all other traffic doesn’t have to deal with a shambles like Papanui Rd has become. It’s a real shame as there is a big impact on the local community with increased traffic that doesn’t flow. Conrad Fitz-Gerald – Pretty convenient really. I mean, you don’t even have to find a park anymore. Just jump out at the start of the lights and you’ll be back before you need to go anywhere. Great way to keep customers happy.

Excavating our stock room we have brought some hidden gems to light. Historic through to recent works will be displayed in an exhibition unlike any we have held before. Any artwork can be taken on the purchase day for the ticket price, no need to wait until the end of the show. You can also take the silent auction option, make a respectful written offer to the artist. At the end of the show the highest bid will be considered, perhaps it will be yours, a chance to get an artwork ‘for a song’. Delve into the wonderful paintings, sculptures and prints by emerging and established artists. Some of the participants are Robin Slow, Brent Forbes, Anna Dalzell, Chris Pole, Jane Downes, Hamish Southcott, Carol Stensrud, Chris Moore, Rae West, Jill Perrott, Barb Warren and many more. That esoteric artwork that has haunted you for years may be back to tempt you, others may seem like old friends, whatever, it will certainly be a diverse and intriguing show. Presales welcome. Brakes put on road safety working party

Darryn Bennett – I’d love to meet the brainless imbecile who thought this was a good idea. Can’t they just stick to ruining the CBD and leave the suburbs alone? Jill Lang – In my opinion the money would be better spent putting in much needed right turning lights. Since the turning rule was changed some places are hideous such as Cranford St onto Innes Rd. Mike Allfrey – Chuck in a couple of roundabouts and a railway crossing while you’re at it. Way to go council, lets stuff up the whole traffic flow. And they wonder why people don’t go to the CBD. It’s the same but worse there. Andrew Miller – The Papanui High School students that walk straight out onto the road will keep doing it. Aaron Campbell – Don’t forget the useless traffic islands with trees and a cycle path that takes up most of the road and you are on to a winner. Vanessa MacKenzie – Where? There are lights at the corner by Westpac, there are lights at the closest entrance to Countdown and lights by Couplands. If people are crossing

•From page 1 Concerned resident James Wilding said it was difficult to comprehend there would be a “low” chance of change with a working group. “Fundamental city council policy includes listening to and working with communities, creating healthy and safe communities and elected members making decisions. We want to work with the city council,” he said. Dr Edwards sent the memo after city council staff recommended the issues could be “sufficiently addressed” by having a work shop with the community board next month. That workshop would not include the public, which Mr Wilding said was “difficult to reconcile”. One issue Mr Wilding was CROSSING: A new signalised pedestrian crossing is being installed outside Northlands expressly concerned about is the Shopping Centre between Halliwell Ave and Langdons Rd. Bypass almost finished

Open Day planned for October 29 THE WESTERN Belfast Bypass project is almost finished. Construction of the 5km, four-lane stretch of road which will aim to cut down traffic from Main North Rd to the airport is 95 per cent complete. Work is to set to ramp up over the next few weeks as the project draws to a close. Traffic will be switched onto the new bypass in stages from early November after an open day on October 29 for people to walk or cycle along the new road. A north-bound lane will open to traffic first, followed by a south-bound lane about a week later. The stagnated opening will allow the project team to complete the final parts of the project, such as connecting the bypass to the existing road network and carrying out surfacing work on the ramps. A temporary speed limit and traffic management will be in place while the team finishes the remaining sections of the

Playcentre forges ahead at new base after blaze By Julia Evans BELFAST PLAYCENTRE coordinator Julie O’Rourke vowed the fire which gutted its building would not affect the children’s families. And that promise has been kept as the centre started operating out of the Belfast Community Network building last week. The former playcentre on Main North Rd was devastated by a fire that started when a pot was left on the stove during a fifth birthday party. Now the playcentre with a roll

of 25 will run its sessions out of the community network building every Tuesday. It is also focused on raising enough money to cover the “shortfall” in insurance. Ms O’Rourke said there would be a shortfall in terms of the insurance payout due to the high demolition costs. “We’ve had huge support from the community and playcentres around the country,” she said. Belfast Primary School will run a mufti-day on Friday to raise money and support the integral part of the Belfast community.

project. Depending on the weather, all lanes of the bypass should be open to traffic in December. The construction team will return to lay the final low noise asphalt surfacing in spring 2018. About 118,000 plants, shrubs and trees have been planted along the bypass. Most have been grown from seeds and cuttings sourced from

native plants in the area. During the project, more than 3500 native fish, including long fin and short fin eels, giant bully and inanga, have been rescued and relocated to other parts of the waterway. Where the bypass travels over waterways, culverts have been designed to allow fish passages and riparian planting has been restored with native species.

St Margaret’s students take in the sounds of New York By Julia Evans ST MARGARET’S College students couldn’t get the lyrics to New York, New York out of their heads during their trip to the Big Apple. Year 11, 12 and 13 performing arts students spent two weeks in the United States enjoying an itinerary jam packed with drama, dance and music workshops. The girls went on tours of NBC Studios, Radio City, the Broadway Theatre district and other iconic artistic New York haunts. They were treated to a few Broadway and off-Broadway shows almost every evening. And to top it off, they went to Times Square, Central Park, Central Station, the 9/11 memorial, One World Observatory, plus the Brooklyn Bridge and the High Line as well as most of Manhattan.

Police ensure children are buckled up

DONUTS AND coffee were used as bribes to encourage cyclists to turn out on a dreary morning for the Go by Bike event. The St Albans Community Centre on Colombo St acted as a pit stop for cyclists taking part in the Biketober event on the Papanui Parallel. Members of the St Albans Residents’ Association dished out tea, coffee, donuts and muffins to commuters who’d chosen to ditch their vehicles on the way to work.

CANTERBURY’S road policing team has been out and about making sure children are strapped in safe. Senior Constable Paul Beaver has been checking vehicle seats at Edukids Preschool in Redwood. On a Facebook post, police said: “We’re really thrilled to

Canty girls score national hockey titles SPORTS By Andrew King CANTERBURY’S under-15 B girls hockey team have been crowned national champions for the sixth year in a row. The squad, made up mostly of students from north-west schools, travelled to Timaru to compete earlier this month. Their only loss came in pool play at the hands of Wanganui (2-3). They beat Manawatu (12-0), Thames Valley (7-0) and Hawkes Bay (4-0) before beating Waikato 4-0 in the quarter-final. After a tough 2-1 win over hosts South Canterbury in the semi-final, they faced Wellington. Christchurch Girls’ High’s Sophie Bowden slotted home the winner from a penalty corner with 4min to go. She then added another after Wellington subbed their goalie, to close out the game 4-2. Villa Maria’s Kate Davies was the top scorer for the side netting eight goals during the tournament. The under-15 A girls team also won a national title after travelling to North Harbour. The team, made up entirely of north-west school students,

went through the tournament undefeated. They finished top of their pool with wins against Otago (6-0), Taranaki (4-0) and Northland (1-0) before following this up with a tough quarter-final 2-1 victory against Waikato. They then had a 2-1 win against Auckland in their semifinal before finishing off a fantastic week with a hard-fought 1-0 win against hosts North Harbour in the final. Rangi’s Tessa Reid smashed

home the winner in the 19min. The under-15 A boys were unsuccessful in defending their 2016 title, coming up short in Nelson and finishing their tournament in fourth. The under-15 B boys were knocked out in their quarterfinal and finished fifth in their tournament in Invercargill. Under-15 A squad: Burnside’s Payton Anderson and Kelly Newlands; CGHS’s Grace Ansell and Emily Bowden; St Margaret’s Georgia Bonne, Sophie Cal-

Morel bowls start of season By Andrew King CANTERBURY’S most decorated bowler has got her season off to another great start. Bev Morel won the South Island chartered clubs women’s championship fours title this month. Playing with her longtime partner and sister Theresa Woodham, as well as Sherrie Cottle and Margaret Pilkington, the team overcame stiff competition from 54 teams throughout the South Island. “In the final, the three girls played outstanding and I played average,” she said. “Luckily, my opponent struggled as well. It was just one of those games.” It was another win for the Redwood resident, who turns 76 in November. She was recently awarded her 35th Canterbury centre title by Bowls Canterbury president Brian Barker at the Elmwood Park Club, the most by any woman bowler in the region. Morel still trains four days a week at the gym as well as mentoring and coaching new bowlers at her local club. With the national open championships approaching, she will be looking to add to her three titles. “I am looking forward to nationals. I have been to a few,” she said. One of her standout memories

as a bowler was from a national event in Dunedin in 1998. “My brother died while I was down there playing and my sister was in my team,” she said. “We played for our brother and won it. We knew he was going to pass away and we both missed his funeral. He told us

to go there and win the title and we did.” Morel started playing in 1981 after making the change from indoor bowls to outdoor as her friend and husband were already playing outdoor bowls. In spite of Morel’s success, she has never been in the national

team, known as the Blackjacks. “Problem is it is an age thing. (I was) told in my 50s I was too old,” she said. She said there is a definite age culture bias with the selectors. “They might deny it but they have an age culture,” she said.

Finally It Is Here

Concrete homes may be thermal mass of concrete homes the way of the future “The is more efficient than conventional Compass Homes Canterbury have completed construction of their concrete show home in Prestons Park, Burwood – the first of its kind in the South Island. With this type of construction, specially formulated concrete is poured into aluminium building forms, then left to set. This allows all the walls to be poured at the property in one solid piece. Christchurch General Manager for Compass Homes, Yolande Mintrom, says she and her team are very excited to see the launch of ‘The Concrete Home’.

wooden homes. It reduces the energy required, and therefore the expense of heating or cooling your home.” Yolande also points out that concrete homes are beneficial for those suffering from allergies, as concrete doesn’t support the growth of mould or mildew. It tends to also have lower ongoing maintenance costs, which she puts down to the fact that it is less absorbent than other materials.

“Its benefits are speed, eco-friendliness, versatility and warmth,” Yolande says.

This weekend, Compass Homes will be opening the doors to the very first Concrete Show Home in Canterbury, and it will be the first of many, Yolande says.

Metal mesh made in New Zealand is used for reinforcing, she says, providing a structure that has a very high earthquake, flood and fire resistance, as well as an extremely high thermal efficiency.

“The finish, the features, the duty of care is evident in every corner of this well-positioned home, situated at 33 Preston Park Road, Burwood. Come and have a look for yourself.” Compass Homes Showhomes are open 12 pm—4 pm, Wednesday to Sunday at 54 Footbridge Terrace, Sillverstream, Kaiapoi, as well as 33 Prestons Park Road, Burwood.

KIDSTUFF Lindisfarne Nursery School Lindisfarne Nursery School was established by Tricia Cuthbert in 1987 and remains part of the Cuthbert family today. We are committed to Christchurch, to our community, our Lindisfarne families, and most importantly the futures and happiness of our children. We believe in developing children’s

feelings of self-worth, and encouraging tolerance and understanding of others. Our teachers all hold a Diploma of Teaching in Early Childhood, and one holds a Diploma of Teaching in Primary as well as early childhood. She prepares the four year olds for school through an informal and brief daily ‘lesson’ time which the children love to take part in. We have a separate nursery with an outdoor area where the children discover and explore. We are a strong multi-cultural centre with committed teachers who embrace and celebrate diversity for our families. Morning and afternoon tea and a cooked lunch are provided, and we welcome visitors. FASHION: Model Cirrus Tan shows off designer Cindy Weiss’ land of the long white cloud design at the Art Couture NZ wearable arts competition.

Harewood designer’s wearable creation HAREWOOD‘S Cindy Weiss was among the designers who unleashed their weird and wonderful art in Selwyn’s first wearable arts competition. Art Couture NZ brought its first fashion show to life in Tai Tapu, attracting about 150 people through the door. The show, judged by designer Loretta Sloan and artists Steve Henderson and Blanche Fryer, featured about 29 designers. Ms Weiss created a New Zealandinspired outfit titled ‘land of the long white cloud’. The dress was made of merino wool and seaweed. Organiser Kim Strange said the dress was a “beautiful garment that was well constructed”. Mrs Strange said people were stunned at the quality of the garments and the creativity of the designers.

BEAUTY: Designers from around the country descended on Tai Tapu for the wearable arts competition, including Auckland’s Leanne Day and model Laura Murton with this award-winning madame bride design.

“It was just nice watching everyone’s faces. You just saw everyone getting a lot of pleasure from it . . . we have got very clever people,” she said. The competition, hosted by city councillor Anne Galloway, included designs ranging from a phoenix-style dress to futuristic themed items. The audience also had the chance to mix with the designers and models. “People were able to see the outfits up close and go and talk to the designers to see how they made them . . . they seemed to enjoy that,” Mrs Strange said.

Clinic offers easy solution to varicose veins If varicose veins are a problem for you, the dedicated, professional team at Transform Clinic in Mandeville Street Riccarton can provide the perfect solution. Firstly, they will give you a free assessment of your veins, and then suggest the appropriate method of treatment, depending on the condition of the veins. There are two methods available – endo-venous laser treatment, which is used for both smaller and larger veins, and ultrasound guided sclerotherapy. Both are easy and straightforward, and you can be fully active immediately afterwards, without needing to take any time off work, or curtail your normal activities. The only requirement is for you to wear special stockings for two weeks following treatment, and daily walking is recommended. Both these treatments give long-term relief from the pain and discomfort of varicose veins, and as Transform Clinic’s Jenny Little points out, they have become the treatment method of today, with surgical removal of varicose veins now considered obsolete. Jenny advises having treatment as early as possible when varicose veins start to appear, as left untreated they may lead to venous ulcers and venous eczema, although

if these have developed, Transform Clinic can treat them as well. Transform Clinic has an affiliation with health provider Southern Cross and relationships with several other health insurance companies, which means you are usually covered for treatment, providing it is included in your policy. Transform Clinic also offers a full range of appearance medicine options, including skin rejuvenation and skin-tightening treatments designed to improve skin quality and enhance self-esteem. They remove superficial veins on the legs and face, and also provide mole mapping, mole removal and primary skin cancer removal. Their website, www.transformclinic.co.nz, has information on all the various treatments available. “We are a ‘one-stop shop’ for all cosmetic medicine treatments,” says Jenny. Transform Clinic is discreetly located at 52a Mandeville Street. Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8.30am, with late nights on Tuesday and Thursday, and Saturday from 9am to 3pm. Phone 343-2880 to enquire about treatments or make an appointment.

LUCKY? Perhaps more pure talent than luck! Lana Doublet says she is ‘over the moon’ aer claiming the NZ Country Music Awards Songwriter of the Year for the 3rd consecutive year. “e song that won my recent title is called 'Together Apart' - inspired aer watching an Attitude Live documentary of the same name that told a beautifully sad story about how a family lived with the struggle of dementia.” Taking place in Rotorua on Saturday 14th October, the prestigious NZCMA event is considered the pinnacle for winners of regional Country Music competitions. “I've always had a love of music and storytelling but it wasn't until I was introduced to the country music scene aer meeting my husband Phil Doublet, that I was able to combine the two,” said Lana. “I have always been very stage-shy, and still get extremely nervous, so thankful for the constant support and encouragement from family and friends telling me 'I can'.” And ‘she has’. Over the past few years Lana has claimed numerous awards, including

The Hamptons Peter and Kathryn Hampton

Homes sold in your area

As the 2017 year comes to an end many people are making choices for 2018 with many people choosing to move home, change schools, buy a car and organise another holiday.

Peter Hampton Licensed Sales Consultant

Kathryn Hampton Licensed Sales Consultant

We make important choices throughout our life; what schools our children will go to, what food we eat, what friends we have, where to go on holiday, and the values we instil in our children. Two of the biggest choices we have to make are; where we live and when to sell and buy. A crucial component of the process is selecting the right licensed real estate salesperson to guide you through the mountain of information and industry jargon. A salesperson can assist in the important task of identifying the right buyer for your house, as well as understanding your unique requirements and make your next dream home a reality. It takes great negotiation and sales skills teamed with effective target marketing to deliver the very best results. Kathryn and Peter can offer you an exceptional real estate experience. Working as a team we collectively together want to achieve the very best results and the best outcome. Give us a call today, we would really like to hear from you.

Client Comments We sold our house in Strowan Road. We were fortunate that we listed with experienced local agents Peter and Kathryn Hampton to perform this task on our behalf. We were very impressed by Peter and Kathryn’s knowledge of the local area. The Marketing campaign which fitted in with our budget suggested by Peter and Kathryn attrached a large number of people to the Open Home viewings. Throughout the three weeks sales period, Peter and Kathryn’s communication and buyer feedback was invaluable and greatly appreciated. Their professional attitude and honesty gave us confidence to trust his decisions. We would have no hesitation in recommending Peter and Kathryn Hampton to anybody looking at selling their house. Brian and Maryanne Many thanks Peter and Kathryn for doing such a great job in selling our house. We appreciated your knowledge of the local market, your ability to listen, your calm demeanours and your straight forward and clear communication (without any annoying jargon!) The selling price was above our expectations and that was down to your hard work and experience. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you. Cherry I listed my three bedroomed villa with Peter and Kathryn Hampton, and have been extremely happy with the process and outcome. Their local knowledge and past experience with other properties in the area proved to be invaluable to help convince buyers that ‘this was one of them.’ From the outset, I was determined to find an agent that was realistic with market value, knew their stuff and would not tell me what they thought I wanted to hear. Coupled with a close working relationship, as well as the ever important sale, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them. Brent I thought both Kathryn and Peter worked really hard to promote and sell my house. They were easy to contact and explained what was happening clearly. I really loved Kathryn assistance to get the house looking fantastic for the open homes. Kathryn
